Police Blotter

The following report is taken from information provided by the Lewistown Police Department and does not represent the total scope of police activity. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

 

Dec. 5 

• At 1:19 a.m. a 911 caller requested a nurse come check on her in her hospital room. The hospital was contacted and sent a nurse to check on the person.

• At 1:22 p.m. a person asked to know if the homeless man in town needed anything An officer spoke with the person.

• At 2:52 p.m. a person reported a female had been hanging around inside the apartment building the person manages and the female does not live there. Officers responded.

 

Dec. 6

• At 3:16 p.m. a 911 caller requested the phone number to the Great Falls Police Department because he was receiving threatening messages from a female in Great Falls. The person was given the Great Falls Police Department phone number.

• At 3:36 p.m. a person requested a police escort. Officers responded.

 

Dec. 7

• At 12:46 a.m. a person requested a welfare check on a male’s dogs. The person said the male said he might harm the dogs after she had a verbal altercation with him about the dogs. The Judith Basin County Sheriff’s deputy was advised. 

• At 9:11 a.m. a sex offender brought in his Address Verification Letter and an updated photo was taken. 

• At 12:30 p.m. a person reported a vehicle violated a school bus stop. Officers responded and made contact with the driver.

• At 5:34 p.m. a person requested the serial number on a gun be checked to make sure it was not stolen. 

 

Dec. 8

• At 9:23 a.m. a 911 caller reported a field fire east of Roy. The Roy Fire Department responded.

• At 9:38 a.m. a 911 caller reported sexual harassment. Officers responded.

• At 11:38 a.m. a person reported someone may be breaking into her home through the basement. Officers responded.

• At 12:06 p.m. a person reported she could no longer take care of her cat. PALS was contacted.

• At 2:32 p.m. a person reported the neighbor’s dog was in their garage and did some damage. Officers responded.

 

Dec. 9

• At 12:05 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious person near her home. Officers responded, made contact with a male and advised him to move along for the night. 

• At 3:32 p.m. an employee at an assisted living facility requested extra patrols because suspicious people were in the parking lot at night.

• At 3:33 p.m. a caller reported a number of deer sheds had been stolen from a remote cabin location. The Judith Basin County Sheriff’s deputy was advised.

• At 9:09 p.m. a 911 caller reported a possible domestic disturbance. The Judith Basin County Sheriff’s deputies responded and arrested a male who was transported to the Fergus County Sheriff’s detention center.

•At 1:58 p.m. a caller requested a welfare check on an elderly female. Officers and medical responded and the female was provided lift assistance.

 

Dec. 10

• At 1:13 a.m. an employee at a local school requested an officer drive-by due to suspicious activity in the parking lot. Officers responded.

• At 1:20 a.m. a 911 caller requested medical for a possibly suicidal female. Officers responded and transported the female to CMMC for evaluation.

• At 5:51 p.m. a caller requested to speak to the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office concerning sexual harassment. The caller was transferred to the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office.

• At 8:55 a.m. a caller reported her neighbor had possibly been in her house while she was gone. An officer spoke to the caller. 

• At 11:23 a.m. a person reported her ex-boyfriend was destroying her property and throwing it out in the yard. An officer responded.

• At 1:02 p.m. a person reported she witnessed a male being physical with a female.
