PTO organizing fall fundraiser

It’s that time of year again for Lewistown’s PTO Fall Fundraiser. Each year kids K-8 go around town selling items to help support our schools. Orders can be made by cash, check or with a credit card online. This fundraiser has a huge impact on our community. The funds raised go directly back to our kids, teachers and schools. The PTO uses this money for things such as: the Art Program, teacher allowances to provide supplies for their classrooms, After School Learning Center, Destination Imagination, field trips, playground equipment, technology updates and so much more.

There are other ways to help support our schools as well. The PTO meets every month to discuss how we can help our teachers and school with volunteer opportunities. We welcome anyone who would like to get involved to help.

The PTO’s next meeting is on Oct. 17 at the Highland Park Library at 7 p.m. Please come check us out and find out ways you can get involved. Our goal is to create a better school and educational experience for our children. There’s so much more that can be done, and we need your help. We look forward to seeing all that can be accomplished this school year when we come together as a community to enhance and maximize the education of every child here in Lewistown.
