Central Montana Head Start Menu Jan. 23 - 26


Central Montana Head Start menu is as follows:

B=breakfast, S=snack, L=lunch. All meals are served with 1 percent milk.

Monday – B. Chex mix, seasonal berries, milk; L. chili, cornbread, peppers, apples, milk; S. celery sticks, ww crackers, water.

Tuesday – B. Zucchini pineapple bread, applesauce, milk; L. chicken and bean quesadillas, cucumbers, tropical fruit, milk; S. goldfish wg, 100 percent juice.

Wednesday – B. Scrambled eggs w/cheese, English muffin, mandarin oranges, milk; L. beef vegetable soup, ww rolls, peaches, milk; S. banana, rice cake, water.

Thursday – B. Cottage cheese, ww crackers, pear, milk; L. turkey noodle w/peas and carrots, oranges, milk; S. cheese stick, ww crackers, 100 percent juice.

Lewistown School Menu Jan. 23-27


The Lewistown Public School lunch menu for all school buildings is as follows:

Monday – Italian pasta bake, wholegrain breadstick, green beans, pepper strips and carrots, peaches

Tuesday – Cheese or pepperoni pizza, garden salad, broccoli and cauliflower, melon wedge, chocolate chip cookie

Wednesday – Wholegrain corndog, potato smiles, calico beans, mixed fruit cup

Thursday – Baked ham, wholegrain roll, au gratin potatoes, mixed veggies, apple wedges

Friday – Hamburger on a bun, lettuce and tomato slice, sweet potato fries, fresh fruit, brownie

Junior high and high school lunch menus include an alternate entrée: Monday – Big Daddy pizza; Tuesday – hamburger on a bun; Wednesday – French bread pizza; Thursday – chicken sandwich; Friday – Big Daddy pizza.

Grab ‘n Go meals are available and include sandwich and salad choices each day. Grab ‘n Go meals include milk and cost the same as a hot lunch.



Breakfast is served for 30 minutes before the first bell of the school day. The menu includes:

Monday – Bagel with spread, cheese stick, juice

Tuesday – Mini waffles, sausage link, orange wedges

Wednesday – Super cinnamon roll, apple wedges

Thursday – Cold cereal, fruit bread, juice or fruit

Friday – Cheesy egg wrap, Mandarin oranges


Milk is served with breakfast and lunch. Milk choices: 8-ounce carton of no-fat chocolate milk, 1-percent white milk or no-fat white milk.

Breakfast juice choices include four-ounce servings of apple juice, grape juice or orange juice.

The breakfast bar for Lewistown Junior High and Fergus High schools consists of an entrée and a serving each of fruit or juice and milk. Students may choose one item from each category.
