Lewistown Schools 

Menu Jan. 30-Feb. 3

 

The Lewistown Public Schools lunch menu for all school buildings is as follows:

Monday – Smokies, pancakes, tater tots, tomatoes, red peppers and cauliflower, orange wedges

Tuesday – Meatballs, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, strawberry cup, cinnamon bun

Wednesday – Beef, bean and cheese, burrito with salsa, garden salad, carrots and snap peas, cinnamon apples

Thursday – Hot ham and cheese on a bun, calico fries, creamy coleslaw, pear wedges, strawberry shortcake

Friday – Toasted cheese, sandwich, tomato soup with crackers, broccoli and celery sticks, grapes

Junior high and high school lunch menus include an alternate entrée: Monday – Big Daddy pizza; Tuesday – hamburger on a bun; Wednesday – French bread pizza; Thursday – chicken sandwich; Friday – Big Daddy pizza.

Grab ‘n Go meals are available and include sandwich and salad choices each day. Grab ‘n Go meals include milk and cost the same as a hot lunch.

 

Breakfast

Breakfast is served for 30 minutes before the first bell of the school day. The menu includes:

Monday – Cold cereal, cinnamon toast, juice

Tuesday – Yogurt with granola, French toast sticks, apple wedges

Wednesday – Cheesy egg biscuit, peaches

Thursday – Cold cereal, cinnamon roll, juice or fruit

Friday – Cheesy egg wrap, Mandarin oranges

 

Milk is served with breakfast and lunch. Milk choices: 8-ounce carton of no-fat chocolate milk, 1-percent white milk or no-fat white milk.

Breakfast juice choices include four-ounce servings of apple juice, grape juice or orange juice.

The breakfast bar for Lewistown Junior High and Fergus High schools consists of an entrée and a serving each of fruit or juice and milk. Students may choose one item from each category.

Menu subject to change due to price and availability of products. All meals meet USDA guidelines.

 

Central Montana Head Start Menu Jan. 30 - 31

 

Central Montana Head Start menu is as follows:

B=breakfast, S=snack, L=lunch. All meals are served with 1 percent milk.

Monday – B. Rice crispy cereal, bananas, milk; L. meatloaf, green beans, tropical fruit, milk; S. cucumber sticks, whole wheat crackers, water.

Tuesday – B. Pumpkin bread, peaches, milk; L. chef salad, ww crackers, orange, milk; S. low salt pretzels, 100 percent juice.
