Several FHS football players earn all-conference honors

Fergus High School football Coach Vic Feller announced five Golden Eagles were named to the Central A first team all-conference squad. In addition five other Eagles were named to the second-team all-conference squad.
Named to the first-team offense were senior Isaac Fry as running back, seniors Sam Butcher and Cole Ayers to the offensive line and junior Matt Welsh as a punter. Named to the first-team defense was Welsh as an outside linebacker, Ayers and Butcher on the defensive line and senior Eric Knox as a free safety.
Eagles named to the second-team offense were Knox as a wide receiver, junior Wyatt Blythe at the fullback position and Mitch Norslien as the quarterback. Named to the second-team defense was junior Bridger Grover as a defensive cornerback and return specialist, Blythe as an inside linebacker and senior Nick Sweeney as a defensive end.
