The department also issued at least two citations.

May 3

• At 10:57 a.m. the Fergus County sheriff arrested a man at the Fergus County jail on a warrant for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

• At 5:39 p.m. a landlord reported a former tenant going through her old mailbox. He said the woman hadn’t lived there for months, and new tenants had moved in. He hadn’t approached her, however, because she seemed intoxicated.

• At 10:41 p.m. a man called in about a missing, possibly stolen, car. His brother lent his vehicle to a third person, who promised to return it at 6 p.m. The car still hadn’t shown up, but the caller didn’t want to report it stolen; he just wanted it back. He added the borrower didn’t have a driver’s license. A deputy found the vehicle roughly an hour later, and the owner retrieved it.

• At 11:40 p.m. a man was booked into the Fergus County Detention Center after being arrested by a Lewistown Police officer for partner/family-member assault.
