The following report is taken from information provided by the Fergus County Sheriff’s Department and does not represent the total scope of the sheriff’s department’s activity. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 20
• At 1:25 p.m. a woman requested to speak to the sheriff. She stated a party was speaking to her through the airwaves and RFID chips. The woman was going to use cyberspace to send the department documentation from Washington, D.C.

Dec. 21
• At 8:47 a.m. a woman reported an unauthorized cattle dehorning on a property. The caller noticed evidence of the event the day before, but wasn’t sure when it could have taken place. She reported the bloody scene had prompted her to contact the county health department, which advised closing off the area in case of contamination. The woman was going to attempt to handle the matter on her own, but would contact the sheriff’s department if she needed help.
• At 1:45 p.m. Central Montana Dispatch reported a man’s skidsteer was on fire in the middle of his driveway. A deputy and two fire trucks responded, and the fire was put out by 2:30 p.m.
