Feb. 9
• At 2:18 p.m. a man requested a deputy. He reported the issues he was having with telephone fraud had possibly extended to a phone tap. A deputy later contacted the man, who described a phone call telling him he needed to post bail for a relative. However, all of the addresses and the phone numbers the caller had used were fake. The man said there were then two times he picked up the phone and heard the same male caller on the phone.


Feb. 10
• At 11:40 p.m. Central Montana Dispatch reported a 911 call about an erratic driver. The caller reported a jeep was swerving all over the road, and had stopped and started several times. The caller gave a description of the vehicle and its current location. A deputy located the vehicle at 11:55 p.m. A woman was taken to the jail, and the deputy issued two citations, one for driving under the influence and one for reckless driving.


Feb. 10
• At 1:45 p.m. a woman came to the sheriff’s department to give a report on the mutilation of one of her cats.
