• At 1:09 p.m. a caller reported a trespass and potential theft on her property. The woman said the door and window were open on her horse trailer, but she was unsure if anything was missing yet. She added a similar occurrence last year prompted her to purchase a trail camera, and in December, the device captured a 3-second video of someone. After inspecting the trailer, the woman called back. She reported a screw driver was used to open the window, and there were cut marks in the trailer’s padding, but there was nothing she could prove was missing. She added the video showed a “man in a big hat with a big ego.”

• At 6:50 p.m. the sheriff’s department was informed cells in the back were flooding, with water coming up through the floor drains. A plumber was called to come in the morning, and inmates were moved from the flooding cells. Later, one inmate reported another inmate had flushed his towel down the toilet after failing to flush his shirt.

• At 3:55 p.m. a caller reported hearing shots in an area close to her house. The woman stated she heard a bullet whiz by, and the shots were close enough to spook her dog and horses. She said the area often drew pheasant or coyote hunters, but she was now worried for her family and neighborhood’s safety because these people seemed to be shooting towards the homes. The woman added the close shooting happened the day before, too. She requested extra patrol in the area.
