April 28
• At 9:45 p.m. a woman called in about coyotes. She stated several were in her yard, moving closer to her house. The woman’s dogs were outside, and she was worried the coyotes would continue to advance. Dispatch called someone who offered to call and talk to the woman, but added there wasn’t much to do about coyotes.

April 30
• At 12:38 a.m. a male who was arrested by the Lewistown Police Department for citations of obstructing a police officer, minor in possession of alcohol and burglary was booked into jail.
• At 1:11 p.m. a caller reported someone’s 10 cows were out by his house. The man stated it was undisputed land, and, if he couldn’t have animals on it, neither should they.

May 1
• At 2:18 p.m. someone reported a person was talking to female inmates from outside of the Fergus County Jail.
• At 7:05 p.m. a driver called in a roadside situation. He stated a 2- to 3-year-old naked boy playing by the side of the highway caused him and the driver behind him to slam on their brakes. The child then ran across the highway to play by mailboxes on the other side. The driver stopped, helping the boy back across the highway to his mother. He confronted the mother, who then told the driver to not yell at her in front of her children.
