May 25
• At 12:40 a.m. Central Montana Dispatch reported a 911 call about a porcupine problem. A semi loaded with cattle hit a porcupine, breaking its diesel-tank fitting and causing it to leak fuel. A deputy arrived on the scene and estimated roughly 80-90 gallons of fuel were leaked onto the highway and into a field.

May 26
• At 9:25 a.m. a man reported neighbor dogs had killed 15 of his step-granddaughter’s ducks. He said the dogs were frequently on his property.
• At 3:56 p.m. a man reported diesel theft. He stated that over the last year, roughly 925 gallons of fuel had been stolen from his 1000-gallon tank. When the man was at the tank six days ago, he turned off the switch and put a rock on the tank. Today the switch was on and the rock removed. The man later added the last fuel theft was about 250 gallons.
• At 6:53 p.m. a woman requested an ambulance for her husband. The dispatcher reported hearing her husband in the background, yelling he didn’t need one, he could make it to the truck.
