Aug. 17
• At 9:39 a.m. a man reported a baby mountain lion walking roughly 50 yards from his house.
• At 12:58 p.m. a call came in about vehicle vandalism. The caller stated his parked truck now had a hole in one window and damage to its box.
• At 2:26 p.m. Central Montana Dispatch radioed over a call about a broken-down semi. The vehicle lost its back axle, including tires, on the top of the Divide.

Aug. 19
• At 9:12 a.m. a caller reported a goat for the high school rodeo had gone missing. She gave her information in case anyone found it.
• At 10:26 a.m. Central Montana Dispatch told the department there was a natural gas leak below the hatchery. People on the scene said it looked like someone had gone off the road, hit the culvert and also hit the valve for the gas.
