The following report is taken from information provided by the Fergus County Sheriff’s Department and does not represent the total scope of the sheriff’s department’s activity. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

Sept. 7
• At 3:50 p.m. a Kiwanis representative came into the office requesting help with an unwelcome guest. The representative said someone had been at the Kiwanis Campground for over a month and was refusing to leave. The person changed their mind after a visit with a deputy at 8:39 p.m.
• At 5:47 a.m. a man stopped by the department to report his houseguest had “gone unhinged again.”

Sept. 8
• At 1:44 p.m. a caller stated a camper trailer in the ditch had left debris all over the road. The man later stopped by the department to drop off items he found in the wreckage, including a Nigerian driver’s license and a business card.
• At 9:12 p.m. Central Montana Dispatch reported an accidental 911 call. A phone call back revealed a young child had just been trying to call her grandma in Oklahoma, which has a 918 area code.

Sept. 11
• At 2:53 p.m. a woman stated her neighbor’s motor home, parked behind her neighbor’s house, had just dumped raw sewage on the ground.

Sept. 12
• At 9:50 p.m. a person was arrested on two warrants, one for failure to register as a violent offender and one for contempt of court.
• At 10:15 p.m. a person was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for absconding from justice.
• At 10:21 p.m. a semi reported it was being tailgated by another semi. The called stated the behavior had started at Great Falls, was continuing even now as the two passed Stanford, and the tailgater had refused to pass even when the caller slowed to 30 mph.
