Tri-City Sports Co-op honors winter sports’ athletes

The communities of Judith Gap, Moore and Hobson came together to honor the winter student-athletes on Wednesday, April 26. Before the awards were given, everyone enjoyed a community dessert.
First-time letter winners were presented with their Titan letter. In addition, certificates and pins or bars were given to all high school athletes and managers. Junior high athletes also received participation certificates.
During the presentations, each coach shared thoughts about the past season.
Earning special recognition were Hayden Heilig-all-conference boys’ second team, Kristen Vincent-all-conference girls’ first team and Brianna Bergum-all-conference girls’ second team.
Additional honors were given to the 22 athletes who earned Academic All-State for maintaining a 3.5 GPA while also earning a varsity letter.
Moore: Tim Horan, Tucker Walter, Brianna Bergum, Jacob McAllister, Brandon Bergum, Austin Grove, Mamie Hertel, Latham Walter, Katelyn Bacon and Alison Hanson.
Judith Gap: Tayt Hansen and Savannah Truesdale.
Hobson: Devyn Hughes, Chloe Derks, Garrett Haynie, Zackary Thomas, Samielle Connerton, Beau Drivdahl, Claire Stevenson, Jack Hickey, Kristen Vincent and Matthew Eike.
