Two minor party presidential candidates certified for ballot

Jill Stein of the Green Party and Rocky De La Fuente of the American Delta Party qualified for the 2016 General Election ballot as presidential candidates late Wednesday afternoon. The total number of verified signatures required for minor party and independent candidates to be placed on the ballot for President of the United States was 5,000. At the time of certification, Jill Stein had 6,079 verified signatures and Rocky De La Fuente had 5,450 verified signatures.

Stein has chosen Ajamu Baraka as her running mate. De La Fuente has chosen Michael R. Steinberg as his running mate.

The 2016 General Election Ballot will include the following candidates for President and Vice President of the United States:

• Hilary Clinton and Tim Kaine (D)

• Donald J. Trump and Michael R. Pence (R)

• Gary Johnson and Bill Weld (L)

• Rocky De La Fuente and Michael Steinberg (AD)

• Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka (G)
