V.A. service officer sets April rounds

Sue Foster, Montana Veteran’s Affairs service officer, will visit Central Montana towns in the next few weeks to assist veterans and their dependents.

Foster will travel to:

• Ryegate on Wednesday, April 12 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. (noon) at the Golden Valley Courthouse. By appointment only. Please call 538-3174 to arrange an appointment.

• White Sulphur Springs on Wednesday, April 19 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. (noon) in the Meagher County Courthouse basement; and

• Harlowton on Wednesday, April 19 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Wheatland County Courthouse Commissioners’s Office.

• Stanford on Thursday, April 20 from 12 p.m. (noon)-1 p.m. in the Judith Basin Courthouse Extension Room.

There may be changes/cancellations in travel due to weather.

If you have a current rated SC disability and that disability has increased in severity, please contact your Veteran’s Service Officer.

If you are a wartime veteran over the age of 65 with limited income and assets, you may be eligible for pension benefits. If you are a Vietnam veteran who served in the country of Vietnam, and you have diabetes mellitus type 2, please contact Foster or your local Veteran’s Service Officer.

Foster’s local office is in the Bank Electric Building, 505 West Main St., No. 217, in Lewistown.
