Valentine “Felty” Yoder

Valentine D. “Felty” Yoder, 29, of Moore, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado, due to pulmonary hypertension.

Valentine was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on March 8, 1988 to David U. and Anna J. (Wengerd) Yoder. He loved the outdoors, horses, and working with leather.

Valentine is survived by his parents, David and Anna Yoder of Moore; brother, Gideon D. and Mary (Weaver) Yoder of Loysville, Penn.; four sisters, Emma D. (Yoder) and Michael Peachey of Cochranton, Penn., Mary D. (Yoder) and Nathan Weaver of Moore, Anna Mae (Yoder) and Matthew Troyer of Mifflintown, Penn., and Sally D. (Yoder) and Rufus Yoder of Mifflintown, Penn.; grandmother Nancy (Esh) Yoder; eight nieces; five nephews; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his niece, Joanna Renae Weaver, and nephew, Malachi David Yoder.

Viewing will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, from 1-4 p.m., and from 5:30-8 p.m., at 4503 Crystal Lake Road, Moore, MT 59464.  

The Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Moore Amish Cemetery.
