Winifred BPA: Swimming in service

The Winifred Business Professionals of America Chapter, advised by Cheryl Udelhoven, has been working hard to raise funds for their local swimming pool as a community service project. The students have raised over $3,000 to pay for lifeguards in the past four years, allowing the pool to remain open for longer periods of time over the summer.

In the past, Winifred BPA has raffled off three quilts, a tablet, a coffee maker and other miscellaneous items.

Winifred BPA is hoping everyone will support their quest to raise enough funds for another lifeguard this year through their raffle of home decor and other items, which have been donated or made by local chapter and community members.

The drawing will take place Feb. 3 at the last home basketball game and members will be selling tickets until that date.

The chapter will continue assisting the pool through their community service and hopes the many generous supporters of Winifred BPA will aid them in attaining their goal.
