Youth golfers urged to sign up for Devin Moe Tournament

A great way for youth golfers to finish their summer vacation is to play golf in the Devin Moe Memorial Tournament. Sponsored by Pine Meadows-Lewistown Elks Lodge, the tournament will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 24 (the day before school starts for Lewistown students). The tournament is in memory of Devin Moe, who was a Fergus High School golf team member, who passed away, and is for boys and girls 18 and younger.
There will be a nominal fee to help defray the cost of medals, lunch and the use of the Pine Meadows Golf Course. Any parents willing to volunteer to keep score will be provided with a free lunch. There is a sign-up sheet for both players and scorekeepers at the Pine Meadows Pro Shop.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place for both boys and girls in six different age groups. Early registration is encouraged before the day of the tournament as times and groups are assigned prior to that Wednesday.
For more information or to register, call the pro shop at 538-7075. What a great way to end the summer.
