Playhouse raffle helps our hometown Head Start

In celebration Central Montana Head Start’s 25th anniversary, Friends of Head Start is hosting a new fundraiser – the raffling of a playhouse. The playhouse was designed for little ones to get a “head start on adventure,” but the multipurpose structure could also be used as a garden shed, man cave, chicken coop, for extra storage, etc. The playhouse measures 8 feet 3 inches square and was built by the Construction Academy, with help from Bloedorn Lumber, ACE Hardware, and Montana Paint and Glass providing in-kind donations to make it all possible.

Raffle tickets are currently being sold at Don’s Store, Big Spring Spa, Courtesy Motors and MidRivers in Lewistown and First and Mane Salon in Harlowton. They are also available from board members and Head Start families in Lewistown, Roundup and Harlowton. Tickets will continue to be sold throughout the summer, with the drawing to take place at the Chokecherry Festival in September. The playhouse is on display now in the Central Montana Head Start parking lot.
