British Soccer Camp returns to Lewistown for ninth year

With an innovative camp curriculum developed from the country that invented the sport, and with a team of coaches who grew up eating, drinking and breathing soccer, Challenger Sports is bringing young players throughout the United States and Canada, an up close and personal opportunity to experience the sport closest to Britain’s heart. For the ninth consecutive year, Challenger Sports has teamed up with the Lewistown Soccer Club to host the week long “British Soccer Camp” at Symmes Park during the week of Aug. 8.
The Camp will run Monday through Friday. The Lewistown Soccer Club is offering the Camp sessions for the following ages:
Ages 6-11- half day – 9 a.m.-noon
Ages 12-18-half day-1 p.m.-4 p.m.

Each child at the Camp will be coached by a member of the elite Challenger Sports team of 1,200 British soccer coaches, hand selected, trained and flown to the USA exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger Sports will hold over 4,000 soccer programs this year and will coach over 225,000 players between the ages of 3 and 19.
The Challenger cam culture is centered around making learning fun. Their British coaching staff is famous for the way they are able to entertain, engage and educate the campers throughout the week.
