Police Blotter

The following report is taken from information provided by the Lewistown Police Department and does not represent the total scope of police activity. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

 

Sept. 8

• At 11:47 a.m. a School Resource Officer issued citations for a minor in possession of tobacco and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• At 3:48 p.m. a person reported a vehicle driving on the walking trail splashing in the mud puddles near First and Brassey. Officers responded and spoke with the driver of the vehicle.

• At 5:24 p.m. a person reported some items taken from a rental address were found at another address. An officer spoke to owner of property, who responded to collect the items.

• At 8:11 p.m., multiple callers reported a hysterical male at a bar in Stanford. A Judith Basin County deputy responded and provided a pubic assist ride to Lewistown for a male and a female.

• At 10:30 p.m. a concerned party reported a disturbance at a neighbor’s residence. Officers responded and advised it was just kids playing. The kids were advised to take it inside for the night.

 

Sept. 10

• At 2:41 a.m. a concerned party reported a male possibly passed out in the parking lot of a local business. Officers and medical personnel responded. The male refused transport to the hospital and officers assisted him to his camping spot.

• At 8:38 p.m., Onstar requested assistance for a driver involved in a vehicle versus deer accident in Judith Basin County. A deputy responded and advised the vehicle had minimal damage and was able to drive from the scene.

 

Sept. 11

• At 4:15 p.m., a man wanted assistance getting his car back from his ex. The man was advised to contact the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office due to the location of car.

 

Sept. 12

• At 3:44 p.m. a 911 caller reported an aggressive dog chasing cars, and said the dog wouldn’t let him out of his car. An officer and Animal Control responded and got the dog back in its yard. The owner was cited.

 

Sept. 13

• At 12:43 p.m. a person reported a suspicious male parked near a local school. The School Resource Officer made contact with the male and reported he was just waiting to pick up his daughter. The driver was advised not to drive on a suspended driver’s license.

• At 6:33 p.m., a concerned party reported a male he was having problems with was at the back door trying to break into the residence. Officers responded, arrested a male and transported him to the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office detention center.

 

Sept. 14

• At 7:07 a.m., a 911 caller requested officers for a belligerent female passenger of a vehicle. Officers responded. and female was advised to leave the premises of a local business.

• At 8:06 a.m. a local business reported a suspicious female inside the business. Officers responded and advised the female to leave the business.

• At 8:47 a.m. a 911 caller reported a suspicious female at a local business. Officers responded and arrested the female and transported her to the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Sept. 15

• At 6:56 p.m. a 911 caller reported people trespassing on private property. Officers responded and advised individuals on scene they were on private property and not welcome there.

• At 10:25 p.m. a person from a local business reported an erratic driver. Officers responded and arrested a male for DUI and possession of drugs and paraphernalia, and transported him to the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office detention center.
