   The following report is taken from information provided by the Lewistown Police Department and does not represent the total scope of police activity. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

 

Dec. 10

• At 5:58 a.m. a person reported a slide off. The Fergus County Sheriff’s Office and the Montana Highway Patrol responded.

• At 8:17 a.m. the Montana Highway Patrol reported a vehicle rollover east of Winnett on Montana Highway 200. 

• At 11:17 a.m. the Cascade County 911 relayed info about a single vehicle slide-off accident near Geyser. The Montana Highway Patrol and the Judith Basin County Office responded.

• At 11:53 a.m. the Judith Basin County Deputy and the Montana Highway Patrol responded to a report of a jackknifed semi on US Highway 87 near Geyser.

• At 12:37 p.m. a 911 caller reported a bus stuck on a hill in Lewistown. Officers responded and requested tow assistance.

• At 2:43 p.m. a person reported a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

• At 9:49 p.m. a person reported Main Street Hill was very slippery. The Montana Department of Highways was advised.

 

Dec. 12

• At 8:34 a.m. a person reported a dead deer in his back yard. The person was advised since it was on his property, he would need to dispose of it.

• At 9:06 a.m. a person reported someone is stealing her mail. 

• At 11:19 a.m. a person reported her neighbor’s camper is parked on the street and requested it be moved. 

• At 11:24 a.m. a person reported his vehicle was broken into. Officers responded. 

• At 2:21 p.m. a person reported contractors have taken boards off her deck.  An officer responded. 

• At 2:30 p.m. a person reported he was plowing snow and a male jumped in front of his pickup. Officers responded.

• At 5:38 p.m. a 911 caller reported a head-on vehicle accident at milemarker 84 at Highway 87. The Lewistown Fire Department, the Lewistown Ambulance, the Montana Highway Patrol, and the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office responded. 

• At 6:23 p.m. a 911 caller reported the day before, between 2 p.m. and 4p.m., someone had stolen some tools out of his shop. The Judith Basin County Office was advised. 

 

Dec. 13

• At 8:30 a.m. a person reported someone attempted to enter his tool trailer the night before.  

• At 9:16 a.m. a person asked to speak with an officer regarding the city ordinance for parking a trailer on the street. The person felt like he was being singled out.

• At 9:44 a.m. a person requested to speak to an officer regarding her trailer parked on the street. 

• At 12:24 p.m. a person reported he was in a vehicle with his wife and she was impaired and should not be driving. At 12:35 p.m. the person reported he jumped out of the vehicle at the park and now the female was driving erratically around the park on Cook Street. An officer responded and pulled the vehicle over. 

• At 3:35 p.m. a 911 caller reported a male had a knife and was trying to hurt himself. The caller then said he broke a window to get into the house. 

• At 4:17 p.m. an officer advised someone was living in a camper. Code enforcement responded. 

• At 7:45 p.m. a 911 caller reported a suicidal female had threatened another juvenile female. The Fergus County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

 

Dec. 14

• At 5 a.m. a person reported a suspicious vehicle, and said she did not feel safe to stop driving. An officer responded and a male was arrested on a warrant for escaping from a Billings pre-release center. 

• At 7:51 a.m. a person requested parking rules be enforced on Main Street. 

• At 9:21 a.m. a person reported a male acting suspiciously made a hand gesture to the person. 

• At 10:28 a.m. a person reported as he was plowing the roads, a male drove around him and cut him off. 

 

Dec. 15

• At 8:17 a.m. a burglary was reported when a staff member noticed the safe was empty.

• At 9:56 p.m. CMMC reported criminal mischief by a patient in custody from the previous day. 

• At 11:28 p.m. a person asked for an officer to walk through a location because of two males acting suspiciously and making her uncomfortable.
