School Lunch Menus

 

Central Montana Head Start Menu Sept. 1-8

 

B=breakfast, S=snack, L=lunch. All meals are served with 1 percent milk.

Friday (Sept. 1) – B. Cinnamon toast, pears, milk; L. Chicken cornbread casserole with veggies, apples, milk.

Monday – B. Oatmeal, raisins, milk; L. Mac and cheese with ham, beets, apple, milk; S. Raisins, Scooby graham crackers, water.

Tuesday – B. Carrot pineapple bread, applesauce, milk; L. Taco salad with corn chips, kiwi, milk; S. Cucumber, cheese stick, water.

Wednesday – B. Scrambled egg with ham and cheese, peaches, milk; L. Grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, oranges, milk; S. Kiwi, gold fish, water.

Thursday – B. Cheese quesadillas, fruit cocktail, milk; L. Chicken and rice, green beans, seasonal melon, milk; S. Carrots, cheese quesadillas, water.

Friday – B. Scooby graham crackers, apple, milk; L. Shepherd’s pie with veggies, mandarin oranges, crackers, milk.

CMHS participates in the Child and Adult Food Care Program with the State of Montana.

 

Lewistown School Menu Sept. 4-8

 

Monday – No School

Tuesday – Crispy chicken patty, fettuccine Alfredo, glazed carrots, pepper strips and celery bites, orange wedges

Wednesday – Chili with crackers, broccoli and cauliflower, strawberries and bananas, cinnamon bun

Thursday – Roast turkey gravy, whole grain roll, mashed potatoes, broccoli Normandy, applesauce, Harvest bar

Friday – Meatball sub, potato wedges, celery and cucumbers, pineapple chunks

Junior high and high school lunch menus include an alternate entrée: Monday – No School; Tuesday – hamburger on a bun; Wednesday – Bosco sticks; Thursday – chicken on a bun; Friday – Big Daddy pizza.

Grab ‘n Go meals are available and include sandwich and salad choices each day. Grab ‘n Go meals include milk and cost the same as a hot lunch.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served for 30 minutes before the first bell of the school day. The menu includes:

Monday – No School

Tuesday – Yogurt with granola, French toast sticks, apple wedges

Wednesday – Cheesy egg biscuit, peaches

Thursday – Cold cereal, cinnamon roll, juice or fruit

Friday – Oatmeal muffin, string cheese, fruit

 

Milk is served with breakfast and lunch. Milk choices: 8-ounce carton of no-fat chocolate milk, 1 percent white milk or no-fat white milk.

Breakfast juice choices include 4-ounce servings of apple juice, grape juice or orange juice.

The breakfast bar for Lewistown Junior High and Fergus High schools consists of an entrée and a serving each of fruit or juice and milk. Students may choose one item from each category.
