The Family and Consumer Science class at the Junior High learned proper techniques for washing laundry. They studied how to sort, pre-treat, wash and fold their own laundry, and even had a homework assignment to help with the family wash.

On the final day of their unit, they made homemade laundry soap.

The students loved the hands-on experience and made additional bags of detergent to donate to the Community Cupboard foodbank.
