• At 8:20 p.m. Central Montana Dispatch called about an erratic driver on Hwy 87. Another driver had reported a white truck crossing the lines, then driving while partially in the ditch. While a deputy was searched for the truck, two more people called in a similar experience with the vehicle. A deputy located the truck, but the driver would not stop. The vehicle was finally pulled over at 8:53, and at 9:44 p.m. a deputy arrived back at the Fergus County Sheriff’s Department with an adult man. He was arrested for an aggravated DUI, first-offense reckless driving and an expired driver’s license.

• At 4:45 p.m. a gas drive-off was called in. A truck pulling a camper had taken off with $68.70 of gas. A Musselshell County sheriff’s deputy pulled the vehicle over almost an hour later, and the driver admitted he had forgotten to pay.
• At 7:05 p.m. a deputy reported a call about a found backpack. The bag contained a pistol and hunting gear. A serial number search revealed the gun wasn’t stolen, and calls by the deputy did not find any missing firearm reports.
