Dance Syndicate’s traveling team places high at recent competitions

The Dance Syndicate’s presentation of “Apple” took first place in the Jazz Division at the Tremaine Convention in Vancouver, Washington last week. The team members both competed and took classes at the event. Gangsters “Apple” recently competed in Break the Floor Production’s 24-seven dance convention, where the team received a gold. Catherine deGuzman was given a $250 scholarship by the tap teacher, Ireland Larson received a $250 scholarship from the ballet teacher, and Julia Kunau was the runner up for the “Junior Non-Stop Dancer” Award and received a $250 scholarship and Convention Entry for the 2019 convention.

The Dance Syndicate has two competitions left in the season, with 14 competing dancers.
